Calling all manufacturers!
Make UK, the manufacturers organisation, has organised National Manufacturing Day on Thursday July 7, with the goal of bringing young talent into the sector.
National Manufacturing Day aims to showcase the UK manufacturing scene by asking businesses to join the growing number of employers which have already pledged to open their doors on the day.
Ellie Miller, head of stakeholder engagement at Make UK, commented: “On July 7, local communities will have the chance to see the diverse range of careers and jobs on offer within the manufacturing sector. Our aim is to engage with all age groups - from school leavers, to graduates and people looking to reskill.”
